At 10:13 a.m. today (13th), a man carrying a batch of banknotes went to the counter to deposit money at HSBC Bank, 82-84 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. During the transaction, the staff noticed that the banknotes were unusual and suspected that someone was using counterfeit money. They then notified the manager and reported the incident to the police.
Police officers responded to the scene and, after investigation, believed that someone was attempting to deposit "practice vouchers" with a face value of 100,000 yuan. They then arrested a man with his head covered by a black cloth and took a woman back to the police station for investigation.
