A burglary occurred in Causeway Bay. At around 6pm this afternoon (7th), an employee of an insurance company office on the 20th floor of Block 2, Times Square, Causeway Bay reported to the police that the drawer of an employee's desk was opened and valuables were suspected to have been stolen. Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving the report and, after checking the CCTV footage, discovered a suspicious man who sneaked into the office building through a side door at around 4:54 pm last Monday (March 31) and stayed there until around 7:45 am last Tuesday (April 1) when he left through the side door. During this time, he was carrying a yellow bag.
It is reported that an employee found his drawer opened when he returned to work last Tuesday. As of today, about 200 employees have claimed that their belongings and cash were stolen, involving more than HK$100,000, and have reported the case to the police for help.
