When the three people went to the casino to exchange chips, they were informed by the account that the banknotes were all counterfeit. The suspect immediately fled, was pursued by the victim, and was intercepted with the assistance of security guards.

The suspect argued to the police that he did not know that the Hong Kong dollar banknotes were counterfeit, and that he was hired to exchange foreign currencies for others through the introduction workgroup of the mobile phone program, and he was rewarded RMB 2,000 to RMB 3,000 each time. The police believe that there are signs that the man was involved in the case to a high degree, and the case has been transferred to the Procuratorate for investigation.
